B1.1 Estonian Course
At this B1.1 Estonian Course, I prioritize interactive learning and practical application. Our online sessions provide a supportive atmosphere where you can actively participate, engage with fellow learners, and receive personalized feedback from your instructor. The curated video lessons offer flexibility, allowing you to review key concepts at your own pace and reinforce your understanding of the language.
In addition to structured lessons, I believe in the importance of independent study and cultural immersion. That’s why I offer a variety of resources and activities to complement your learning journey, including independent assignments and monthly meetings in our Estonian Language Lounge where you can practice your skills through our themed events celebrating Estonian holidays, seasons, and cultural traditions. We will play different games and listen to Estonian music.
Whether you’re aiming to improve your proficiency for work, travel, or personal enrichment, this B1.1 Estonian Course equips you with the tools and confidence to communicate effectively in Estonian.
Duration
10th April – 31st July.
Wednesdays 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
Session Format
A weekly live session 6 p.m to 7:30 p.m. Interactive activities, speaking, role-plays, presentations, language games, and group discussions.
Video format
Each week, you’ll watch a new video lesson covering grammar or vocabulary, preparing you for our Wednesday’s live session. Before class, you’ll watch the video and engage with tailored exercises to reinforce your understanding of the material. During our in-class time together, we’ll prioritize interactive speaking activities, allowing you to apply what you’ve learned in a supportive and engaging environment.
Estonian Language lounge
Monthly opportunities to engage in language practice and cultural exchange in a friendly environment.
Requirements
You have already acquired the basics of the Estonian language at the A2 level.
Willing to watch videos on different topics weekly a week before online lessons.
Price:
Price: 760 EUR. It’s possible to pay in two installments (380 x 2).
What you will get from this course:
- Access to high-quality videos covering different topics explained in English (all 14 Estonian cases, past tenses, and functional phrases: asking for help, giving advice, agreement and disagreement, describing mood and personality)
- Online sessions in small groups with your teacher Tiina once a week. The sessions will be held in Estonian, minimal English is used.
- Estonian Language Lounge events once a month in real life.
- Personalized study plan (your study goals and advice on how to achieve them).
- Editable PDF files with exercises on all the topics.
- Ongoing support and feedback from your teacher throughout the entire course.
